Rules & Regulations

A safe, respectful learning environment

At Jochebed Matriculation School, discipline and good conduct are considered essential for the overall development of students. The following rules maintain a safe, respectful and productive learning environment for all.

General Rules

Students must carry the school handbook every day.
Parents are requested to regularly check and sign the handbook.
Arrive at school on time and attend all classes regularly.
Leave letters must be submitted for any absence.
Wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and properly.
Maintain personal hygiene, proper grooming and trimmed nails.
Bring lunch, drinking water, handkerchief and other necessary items.
English should be the primary language of communication on campus.
Maintain silence and discipline in classrooms and premises.
Sharp objects, dangerous materials or prohibited items are not allowed.
Gold ornaments and valuable items should not be brought to school.
Students are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
Damage to school property results in disciplinary action and compensation.
Academic and transport fees must be paid regularly and on time.
No student may leave the campus during school hours without prior permission.

Attendance & Examination

Regular attendance is compulsory.
Students should not remain absent during examinations without valid reasons.
A minimum attendance percentage is required for examination eligibility.
Promotions are based on overall academic performance and annual assessment.
Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual examinations evaluate progress.

Parent Guidelines

Maintain regular communication with the school.
Review progress reports carefully.
Ensure students attend in proper uniform with required materials.
Communicate concerns or suggestions directly to the Principal.
Please do not enter classrooms or meet students during class hours.

Code of Conduct

Participation

Attend morning assembly regularly.
Participate in co- and extra-curricular activities.
Take part in school events, competitions and celebrations.
